  • Grammar School Exam Timetable

All 11+ Grammar entrance exams are taking place earlier. To help parents, The Grammar School Exam Timetable© below, exclusively compiled by The After-School Learning Centre and in its third year of publication, provides important key information on exam dates, submitting applications and many other details. Included are details of dates of when head teachers of Grammar schools are delivering presentations to prospective new parents and children. Also new is the column advising the date of when final pupil pass results will be posted by the Grammar Schools so parents have time to decide before 31 October 2016 whether to put down the name of the school on the Local Authority Common Application form which will save parents from submitting a wasted choice in the event of a child failing.

WARNING: Great care was taken in compiling the data in The Grammar School Exam Timetable©. The After-School Learning Centre cannot be held legally or morally liable for any mistakes or omissions and parents are strongly advised to double check information with schools directly, as changes can happen at short notice.

Notes Your child needs to achieve a combined score of 210 or above to be considered for an offer of a place. In reality, your child needs to exceed a score of 222 to 227 for a chance of a real offer. The top 450 ranked candidates will be considered for admission to the school; 186 places will be offered.   Only the TOP 240 children who pass the first round will be invited to sit the second round exams. The school decides the pass rate score of the top candidates once the exam is marked.
You will be able to apply and complete the online Supplementary Interest Form (SIF) from 5th September 2016 via the school website. Completed SIFs for places in September 2017 must be submitted to the school before 11:59 PM on 31st October 2016. You will receive an electronic acknowledgement once your application has been submitted. In addition to completing the SIF you also need to complete a Local Authority online Application Form, naming Mill Hill County High School as one of your choices of school by 11.59 PM 31st October 2016.
You may wish to check with school about exam paper duration as information was unavailable at the time of writing.
